Pink Corvette Stingray Returns to Pace NASCAR Cup Series for Breast Cancer Awareness

•

The pink Corvette Stingray is heading back to the front of the field. Chevrolet announced on October 2 that its specially themed pink Stingray will pace the NASCAR Cup Series at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, October 25, and again at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, November 1. Both appearances are part of Chevrolet's annual campaign for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative, and 2026 marks the 16th consecutive year the two have worked together.

How the Donations Work

This year the campaign reaches beyond the two pace car races. Chevrolet will donate $1,500 for every Team Chevy driver who finishes in the top 10 at five Cup Series races: Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Talladega and Martinsville, up to a total of $25,000 across all five.

The pace car carries a pledge of its own. For every caution lap the pink Stingray leads at Talladega and Martinsville, Chevrolet will contribute another $500, also up to $25,000. It's one of the few times a yellow flag does some good.

Alyssa Haba, senior manager of Motorsports Marketing and Activation for Chevrolet, said that tying donations to five Cup races gives this year's campaign more chances to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer.

The Schedule

The campaign got underway at the South Point 400 at Las Vegas on Sunday, October 4. The pink Stingray makes its 2026 on-track debut as pace car at Talladega on October 25, then comes back to lead the field at Martinsville on November 1, the second-to-last race of The Chase. With the championship that close, there should be plenty of people watching when it rolls out.

Where It Stands

In 2025, Chevrolet raised more than $1.7 million for the American Cancer Society, and $32,500 of that came through the NASCAR campaign. Making Strides walks are held in nearly 150 communities nationwide, most of them in October, and the ACS event finder will point you to the one closest to you.

If you'd like to wear some pink of your own this month, the Chevy Cares collection is ready when you are, and every purchase supports Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
