Who is excited about the new 2025 Corvette?! Chevy has unveiled exciting updates and additions to the 2025 Corvette lineup, highlighted by the highly anticipated debut of the twin-turbo 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1.
We now know when production of the C8 Corvette’s sixth model year will begin. According to GM Authority sources, regular production of the 2025 Corvette is set to commence on September 9th, 2024. As always, the Corvette will be built at the GM Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky, the exclusive manufacturing site of the Corvette since 1981. The 2025 lineup will feature the Stingray, Z06, and E-Ray variants, each available in three trim levels across Coupe and Convertible body styles. Additionally, the C8 Corvette ZR1 will be officially revealed this summer.
Three new paint colors will be introduced (or, 2 colors will be re-introduced). The new colors include:
- Competition Yellow Tintcoat – previously available for the C4 Corvette
- Hysteria Purple Metallic – brand new for the 2025 model year
- Sebring Orange Tintcoat – previously available for the 2019 C7 Corvette as well as for the 2020 and 2021 C8 Corvette
With these new colors, we also have to say good-bye to these seven colors:
- Accelerate Yellow Metallic – introduced for the 2020 model year
- Amplify Orange Tintcoat – introduced for the 2022 model year
- Cacti Green – introduced for the 2024 model year
- Carbon Flash Metallic – introduced for the 2023 model year in conjunction with Corvette 70th Anniversary Special Edition models
- Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic – introduced for the 2018 model year in conjunction with the Corvette Carbon 65
- Hypersonic Gray Metallic – introduced for the 2022 model year
- Silver Flare Metallic – introduced for the 2021 model year
