The C8RallyDriver C8 Corvette Carbon Fiber Coolant Trim Ring for the 2020+ C8 Corvette Stingray, Z06, ERay and ZR1 is pre-preg dry carbon fiber construction and finished in high gloss clear. This professionally designed and engineered trim piece is a one of a kind product that finally covers up the oversized hole in the C8 Corvette rear engine bay. It will add extra style in your Corvette engine bay for car shows and other events.
The C8 Corvette Coolant Trim Ring by C8RallyDriver Designs may look like a perfectly shaped ring but it has a unique offset to allow the ring to "float" in the coolant cap space. This is required in order to allow the coolant assembly to flex with the engine and car. It requires no tape or fasteners to hold it in place. Simply align the widest portion of the ring towards the back of the car, reattach the coolant cap and as you tighten it down, ensure the lip of the ring is seated around the perimeter and the inner circular hole is centered with the coolant cap. The ring should be adjusted so that it is slightly loose or "floating" after installation.
No modifications are required and installation takes about 2 minutes. Work with billet coolant caps and stock coolant caps.
