Photos show a C6 armrest; the C7 process is the same.

Step 1. Unscrew the armrest at the hinges, then separate the upper and lower halves at the Phillips screws on the underside.

Step 2. Padded version: glue the padding to the armrest so it can't shift, then trim the excess foam.

Step 3. Glue the dip on the right side carefully; that bond needs to be strong.

Step 4. Apply glue to the edges of the cover.

Step 5. Set the armrest into the cover, aligned.

Step 6. Glue the edges of the armrest.

Step 7. Press the armrest down to compress the foam, then pull the leather around and glue it: front first, then rear, then sides.

Step 8. Make small relief cuts around the dip so the leather follows the curve, then stretch and glue it.

Step 9. Trim off the excess where it overlaps.

Step 10. Clamps help hold everything while the glue sets.

Step 11. Once the glue has set, reassemble the armrest and reinstall it.
Leather care: apply a leather conditioner with UV protection every 4-6 weeks to keep it from drying out and cracking.
