These transparent roof panels are brand new and manufactured to GM factory specifications — no used cores, no exchanges, no waiting. While GM no longer produces this roof, these are built new using aerospace-grade carbon fiber frames, produced in 3D laser-scanned, CNC-machined aluminum molds for consistent dimensional accuracy on every panel.
At just 17.5 lbs, this assembly is approximately 3 lbs lighter than the stock factory roof. Less weight up high improves handling by lowering the roll center — and makes install and removal easier on your shoulders.
From the outside, the panel appears sleek black, while from inside the cabin it reveals a subtle dark blue tint — just like the original GM design.
