These t-tops are a direct replacement to the original glass t-tops for 1978-1982 C3 Corvettes.
The famous C3 Corvette Galaxy Glass T-Tops were given their name due to the near black smoked glass stealthy appearance they have from outside the car. The deep shades on these tops offer a very attractive look, while also maintaining a low level of heat in the car on those hot summer days.
The GM OEM manufacturer Libbey Owens Ford (LOF) manufactures this dark smoked glass. It is currently being used as standard rear tinted glass in nearly all General Motors products. These T-Top assemblies are manufactured using GM licensed parts (aftermarket weatherstrip). Our T-Tops carry a D.O.T.# (Department of Transportation) which is extremely beneficial to safety and certain state inspections.

1968-1977 C3 Corvettes must be retrofitted to use these glass t-tops. For these years, your t-tops will come with replacement switch plates to allow the use of these glass t-tops. Please watch the video below on retrofitting 1968-1977 Corvettes.
