Fan Friday: Ken Schradin’s 2014 Stingray 2LT
This week’s CorvetteStoreOnline.com Fan Friday highlights a Corvette that’s built for thrills, courtesy of Ken Schradin!
For Ken Schradin, Corvette passion started with the dream of owning a 1967 427. Like many enthusiasts, that teenage dream had to wait — but the Corvette passion never faded. In January, Ken’s dream became reality thanks to a special family connection. His son purchased a new C8, and in order to make room, he had to sell his C7. That moment opened the door for Ken, and with the encouragement of his wife, the deal was made. Soon after, the 2014 Stingray 2LT was transported in an enclosed trailer from New Jersey to North Carolina, becoming the Corvette Ken had always wanted.
This Stingray isn’t just special because of the story — it also stands out thanks to its upgrades. Ken’s car features:
-
A custom front splitter for added style and aerodynamic presence
-
An illuminated wind restrictor that glows with Corvette pride
-
A cold air intake for enhanced performance
-
Upgraded grille, wheels, and side lights that give it a sharp, modernized look
The car also features a 7-speed manual transmission, a detail that sets it apart and keeps the driving experience raw and connected. Add in the striking black-and-red accents, garage-kept condition, and virtually no exposure to rain, and this 2014 Stingray is about as close to showroom-perfect as it gets.
For Ken, Corvette ownership has come full circle — not with the 1967 he once dreamed of, but with a 2014 Stingray that’s become his pride and joy.
