Fan Friday: Jerril Paval's 2024 Arctic White C8 Stingray HTC
Some upgrades are incremental. Trading a 2009 C6 Coupe for a 2024 C8 Stingray HTC is not one of them — that's a fifteen-year leap straight into mid-engine territory, and Jerril Paval made it count.
Finished in Arctic White with the Carbon Flash appearance package, Jerril's Stingray HTC is a study in contrast — the bright, clean white body set against blacked-out mirrors, Carbon Flash nacelles framing the retractable hardtop, and red accents threading through the front fascia and brake calipers. It's a combination that photographs beautifully, as the fall foliage shot makes clear, and one that looks just as sharp sitting still as it does in motion. Open the rear hatch and the 6.2-liter LT2 V8 is right there — 490 horsepower sitting inches behind the driver, exactly where Corvette engineers always wanted it to be.
That mid-engine layout is worth a moment's appreciation. The C8 was the first rear mid-engine Corvette ever offered to the public — a configuration Chevrolet's engineers had quietly wanted to build for decades before the C8 finally made it happen in 2020. The HTC body style adds another layer to that story: a fully retractable hardtop that stows behind the seats in seconds, giving Jerril the open-air experience without sacrificing the clean roofline or the structural rigidity of a coupe. Arctic White was the single most popular color choice among 2024 Stingray buyers — about 15% of all 2024 Stingrays built left Bowling Green wearing it — and it's easy to see why. Against the Carbon Flash trim, it's one of the sharpest combinations in the lineup.
Welcome to the C8 era, Jerril. Something tells us the 2009 is already a distant memory.

For Jerril's C8 HTC
C8 Side Mirror Trim Stingray Style, Brushed Stainless — $98.99 — You might recognize those mirror accents on Jerril's car — that's our brushed stainless Stingray-style mirror trim, and the contrast against the Carbon Flash mirrors is exactly as sharp as it looks. GM-licensed, laser-cut for a precise fit, and etched with Stingray lettering and the C8 logo. Easy DIY install, made in the USA. → Shop Mirror Trim
C8 Corvette HTC Engine Cover (Color Matched) — $675.99 — That clean engine bay in the photo is already worth showing off — but HTC owners don't get the coupe's transparent hatch view by default. This custom color-matched cover with a crystal-clear window changes that entirely, letting the LT2 take center stage every time you open the hatch. Available in Arctic White with matte or gloss finish, custom-made with 5 coats of PPG clear coat. → Shop HTC Engine Cover
C8 Stingray Torch Red Engine Cover with Carbon Fiber & White Letters — And if that red engine cover with white Corvette lettering caught your eye in the bay shot, this is it — Torch Red with hydrocarbon visible carbon fiber side rails, fits both HTC and Coupe. The kind of detail that makes people stop and look twice. → Shop Torch Red Engine Cover
