Icon will meet icon for the first time this Memorial Day weekend when the 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible paces this year's running of the 107th Indianapolis 500. While 2023 will serve as the 20th time a Corvette has had the honor of Pace Car for "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing", it will be the very first time for the iconic C8 Z06 Convertible.

It's impossible to think about Indianapolis without thinking about racing and speed, which makes it all the more obvious why the 2023 Corvette Z06 hardtop convertible was the perfect match for this year's Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. Clocking in at nearly 190mph and 670 horsepower, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is a racecar at its core. Factor in a Carbon Aero Package, stunning Red Mist Metallic paint and Tech Bronze aluminum wheels and you've got a vehicle that was made for Indy's hallowed ground.

With Corvette poised to make its historic 20th Anniversary trip across Indy's famous bricks, Chevrolet executives were on hand to share the palpable excitement during Corvette's 70th Anniversary celebration.
