The plate frame reads DAD'S DREAM, and the paint is Turquoise Metallic — a color Chevrolet offered on the Corvette for two model years and then retired for good. Frank LaVacca's 1990 convertible is one of 589 built in that shade, black top, chrome wheels, luggage rack across the deck. It's also one of the last Corvettes to leave Bowling Green with round taillights, and there's a reason for that.
