Happy Friday everyone! Welcome back to another edition of CorvetteStoreOnline.com's Fan Friday, where today the spotlight shines on Corvette enthusiast John Huffman, who has a truly unique story to share. John's passion for Corvettes extends far beyond owning a pristine classic.
John is the proud owner of a stunning 1959 C1 Corvette, with an impressively low VIN number of #15. He affectionately calls this beauty "Betty Boop." What makes Betty Boop truly special is that she's an original. Most of her parts are original, including the paint, upholstery, and even the hydraulic top which has been rebuilt - a testament to John's dedication to maintaining this piece of history.
But the real show stealer might be John's other pride and joy. Parked beside Betty Boop is a meticulously crafted 1959 replica Corvette child's race car yard cart. This pint-sized Vette, named "Baby Boop," is a true labor of love, built by John himself over a three-year period. Baby Boop boasts a surprising amount of power for its size, with a 6 horsepower engine, automatic clutch, differential, and disc brakes! And just like her big sister, Baby Boop sports professional paint, upholstery, and is complete with the perfect finishing touch: a low (and aptly named) VIN number of "JHL01."
